"I started doing hair 20 years ago not thinking it would be something I would dig into so passionately. I grew up in Wilson NC and (like many others) I assumed the hair industry would be fun but not a sustainable career path for me. Because of this mentality at the beginning of my career, I didn’t take things very seriously. Over time in my career, people started to compliment my work and I transformed my mindset about my job into an actual career path. I realized that being a hair artist is a piece of me that I’m allowed to share with other people all while making my guests happy everyday when they look at themselves in the mirror. The truly rewarding part of my career is seeing my guests happy. My spare time is dedicated to my beautiful wife and son. I love all of my clients and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to have worked with so many wonderful people over the years." - Allen
I met Allen in the beginning of his career and have always thought he was talented, not because he was my husband, but because the proof was in his work. I have proudly watched him grow into a master stylist and salon owner. I never thought I would be managing a salon and making it our family business, but here I am! My path being very different from his, I am able to bring my own sparkle to the salon. After obtaining my degree from Meredith College I climbed a career within Healthcare, Cytogenetics and Pharma. After working in a salon, I found it to be similar to a laboratory setting and dove in! I love getting to know the clients and genuinely care about making sure everyone feels their best walking out our door! - Anna
